Press the pupil

whyzo is a small, screenless companion that answers your child’s endless questions — out loud, in words they understand. One button. No screen. Nothing to scroll.

“Why is the sky blue?” “Where did the dinosaurs go?” whyzo explains in words a six-year-old understands.
whyzo often answers with a question of its own, so kids keep thinking for themselves.

The app is in development, and features may change before launch.
whyzo isn’t on sale yet. These are the rules we’re building it around.
What your child says is used to understand and answer the question. We don’t keep the recordings.
whyzo will never show ads or sell your child’s information.
A parent gives consent before a child can use whyzo, and can review or delete their child’s information at any time.
We’re building whyzo around the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, from the first prototype on.
whyzo is made by BAHO KIDS (USA), INC., a small company in Campbell, California. We started it because our own kids ask more questions than we can answer — and we wanted them to get those answers without a screen.
Our kids are testing the first prototypes at home now. If you’d like to hear when whyzo is ready, write to us.
